Old Quarry Wood Trail - a new 1.5km walking route!
Around the eastern side of the new Zone 2 you can now walk through a woodland area originally planted following the deconstruction of the Old Corby Quarry, and enjoy the nature on your doorstep at Priors Hall Park.
It is now a designated Local Wildlife Site and is home to a wide range of tree and plant species and ponds that have formed naturally. You can get to the new area from the front of Zone 2 near the Taylor Wimpey showhomes, or via the footpath near the David Wilson show homes.
This trail is made up of natural footways and uneven trails which are not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. You should expect muddy conditions in adverse weather, so please wear appropriate footwear.
