Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy a home at Priors Hall Park?
There are opportunities to buy new homes at Priors Hall Park from the following housebuilders:
You can find more about house buying options on our website at www.priorshallpark.co.uk/buying-a-home
How can I be more involved in the local community?
Priors Hall Park Neighbourhood Association hold open meetings for residents every two months, which offer a great opportunity to find out more about what’s happening across the development and to offer opportunities to be involved in events and activities.
If you have any ideas for initiatives, groups or activities that you feel would benefit the local community you can also contact Community Development Lead, Laura Brady here.
What is the next amenity to be delivered at Priors Hall Park?
We are working on plans for our next community space, which will be a new grass amphitheatre and Roman-themed play area on Zone 3, overlooking the Monument Way Field. Once more information is available we will look to share this publicly in the news section of this app.
After this, the coming years will see work start on a new Primary School on Zone 2 and then after that community facilities including a community centre, sports pitches, play area and allotments on Zone 2.
When will the next Primary School be built?
The next Primary School to be built will be on Zone 2, directly opposite the Village Green. We are currently working on designs with a view to the school opening in September 2027, depending on the local authority.
When will be able to get directly between Zone 1 to Zone 2 via the causeway between the gulley?
In the long-term, a road will be constructed that connects the middle of Zone 1, with the middle of Zone 2. It will be a continuation of Gulley Street and will run over the causeway between the northern and southern gulley. Work on this will begin this year but will remain closed to traffic for a few years to avoid it being used for construction traffic. Pedestrian access will come sooner, depending on the progress of landscape works along the eastern edge of the gulley.
Will there be a doctors surgery?
As part of our masterplan an area on zone 1 between the district centre shops and Busy Bees nursery has been allocated as the site of a doctors surgery. Urban&Civic are continuing to work with the NHS and the Integrated Care Bureau (ICB) about the best way to bring this forwards.
Is there going to be a pub?
We don’t currently have a site allocated in planning for a pub to be built, but it’s not to say it couldn’t be an option in the future.
Will there be allotments?
Allotments are planned for future stages of the development, currently designed to be in Zone 2, just north of the homes currently being built alongside a play area, multi-use games area, community centre and sports pitches. At the time that more information is available and we are in a position to be able to open a waiting list for the allotments, we will promote this on this app, on social media, and at PHPNA open meetings.
I have a question about management fees, Sky TV, broadband, grounds maintenance – where can I find out more?
You will need to contact Priors Hall Park Management Ltd directly. They have an FAQs page on their website which you may find useful.
What is the difference between the Management Company, the Neighbourhood Association and Urban&Civic?
In brief terms, the differences are:
- Priors Hall Park Management Ltd - The management company who looks after and maintains all the communal greenspace within Priors Hall Park.
- Priors Hall Park Neighbourhood Association - This is a voluntary group of residents who work together to organise activities in the park.
- Urban&Civic - U&C are the Master Developers for all three zones of Priors Hall Park. Responsible for installing the main roads, pathways and utilities.
U&C sell serviced parcels of land to housebuilders, who build residential homes on Priors Hall Park. Housebuilders are also responsible for building roads, pathways and utilities within their land parcels. U&C also create the greenspaces and play areas within Priors Hall Park, which once completed are transferred to Priors Hall Park Management Limited to maintain. This app has been created by Urban&Civic for the benefit of current and future residents and visitors and has in no way been funded by residents.
Are there any retails units available?
Priors Hall Park district centre is currently fully let, but there will be future opportunities for businesses on both zone 2 and 3. It’s too early for us to be able to give timelines of confirmed sizes for these, but if you would like to register an interest in future spaces, please email
