We are delighted to announce that Priors Hall Park has won the Health and Wellbeing Initiative Award at this week’s North Northamptonshire Council Active Communities Awards.

This award recognises the community programmes delivered across Priors Hall Park over the past year, offering a diverse range of free health and wellbeing activities for residents of all ages. From the Youth Games in the Amphitheatre event and Turn Up & Play sessions to our popular weekly wellbeing walks, monthly buggy walks, and the Roman Ramble event, each initiative has been designed to support physical activity, social connection, and engagement with the beautiful natural environment that surrounds the community.

We also launched the Priors Hall Park Community App, making it even easier to discover local activities and explore the walking routes across the development. By working closely with local partners, including the North Northamptonshire Council Active Communities Team, and ensuring all activities remain free of charge, we aim to build a sustainable, inclusive programme that strengthens community bonds and promotes lifelong wellbeing.

We are incredibly proud of the community spirit at Priors Hall Park and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken part in our events and activities throughout the year.

Urban&Civic was also honoured to sponsor two awards on the night, Young Community Champion and Young Sports Performer, celebrating the outstanding young people who are making a positive impact across North Northamptonshire.
